Trilogies Of Tragedies [BOOK 2]: Part Three

With the single out, it was time to make the bulk of the album. I had a couple records from "Iowa Money" that only had me on it that I planned on keeping for my album, including "Spaceship", "Breakdown" & "Punisher". I worked on finishing those up first before making new records. I knew I wanted a record on this album with the bulk of the Xerost8 roster on it. I wanted a hard song for it. It turned out to be called "'Til We Die".

With Hitta gone, I had to figure out what songs he needed to write for that he knew. "MJ23" was one I had two verses for and never got around to writing a third verse for it, so I threw him on it.
After those were done, I began work on new songs. The first one made was "After All This Time" which turned out to be about me if I got signed basically now. And how it could turn out. The ending was not anything I pre-planned. It's kind of a thing with me. The pen decides my lyrics for me. And this is something I've never shared.

But if I get a couple bars that are like out of this world, I get this weird feeling that I didn't write them. As in the sense of God helped me write the bars. Yes, Mr. Fuck God said it. I believe in God. No, I actually believe in Karma so I live my life by it. I've seen what karma does to people. Hence what the song is about. I followed that up with a similar subject for a song called "In This Life". The song is about me if I kept rapping and never made it and finally gave up. I wrote a couple other songs and got to around 14 songs done when I started compiling a track list. I really probably started 31 or 32 songs for this CD and had around 50 beats lined up.

Now was the last month or so of recording.
